A new-format digital office—the fifth of its kind in the country—has opened in Shymkent, designed to enable citizens to access government services and digital tools independently. The space was created with modern standards for convenience and accessibility in mind.
The center features express service areas, digital and expert zones, a training area, and a relaxation space. The AI office is equipped with all-in-one PCs, high-speed scanners, and information screens featuring the eGov GPT service.
One of the key innovations is the document processing terminal, which allows users to independently apply for an identity card or passport in just a few minutes.
"The digitalization of government processes has become a standard part of our daily operations. In line with the strategic priorities set by the President, we are focusing on service automation and creating an accessible, user-friendly environment for all citizens. It is precisely this human-centric approach that we have implemented in our AI offices," said Arman Kenzhegaliev, Chairman of the Board of the "Government for Citizens" State Corporation.
In addition to providing access to digital services, the office includes dedicated training zones where citizens can receive free instruction, improve their digital literacy, and learn how to use electronic services.
Similar AI offices have previously opened in Astana, as well as in the Turkistan and Ulytau regions. The State Corporation plans to continue expanding this network of offices across the country.
