Jakarta, 16 September 2026 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Indonesia Mr. Serzhan Abdykarimov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (KAPMI) Mr. Muliansyah Abdurrahman and representatives of this organization.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues related to bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
Ambassador Abdykarimov presented information on Kazakhstan’s favorable investment and business climate and outlined promising areas for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador noted the importance of the Free Trade Agreement between the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia, signed on 21 December 2025 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The implementation of the Agreement is expected to contribute to the further expansion of trade and economic ties and an increase in mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
Kazakh diplomat also informed the guests about the ongoing socio-political reforms in Kazakhstan and presented key provisions of the newly adopted Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Chairman of “KAPMI” Mr. Muliansyah Abdurrahman expressed interest in further developing business contacts with Kazakhstan and noted the importance of expanding cooperation between young entrepreneurs of the two countries. The Indonesian side expressed readiness to facilitate the establishment of new business ties, the exchange of experience, and the development of promising areas of cooperation.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining a regular and constructive dialogue, expanding cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, and further developing mutually beneficial Kazakhstan-Indonesia partnership.
