HE USE OF CASH REGISTERS: WHAT DO ENTREPRENEURS NEED TO KNOW

The Department of State Revenue for the Kyzylorda region reminds that when making monetary payments in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the use of a cash register machine (KKM) is mandatory. Monetary settlements are payments for goods, works, and services performed by: • in cash; • using payment cards; • through mobile payments. KKM must be included in the state register and used for conducting monetary settlements, unless otherwise provided by tax legislation. The registration of the KKM is carried out: • automatically based on the information of the fiscal data operator - for KKM with data transfer function, • based on a tax statement - for KKM without the data transfer function. Compliance with the requirements for the application of CCM contributes to the transparency of calculations and avoids violations of tax legislation.
