If you are a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of 18 on the day of voting and have an active voting right, You have the right to elect deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The guarantee of the constitutional right to participate in elections is the presence of You in the electoral lists.
Lists of voters are compiled by local Executive bodies.
Your registration at the place of residence on the territory of a particular polling station is the basis for including You in the list of voters. The boundaries of polling stations are published in local media no later than November 5, 2020.
Every voter has the right to register as a voter in the relevant local Executive body from the moment the election is called.
If you become aware no later than December 10, 2020 that You will not be able to arrive on election day at the voting premises at the place of registration, You have the right to apply to the mayor's office at your place of residence with a written application for inclusion In the relevant list of voters.
If You are located in a locality outside of your permanent place of registration and have temporary registration at your place of residence, You have the right to apply to the akimat at your temporary location with a written application for inclusion in the electoral list of the polling station where You will vote on election day no later than December 10, 2020.
