ANNOUNCEMENT
Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Scientific Research and Education Center "Green Academy" on July 3, 2018 within the framework of the AIFC International "Green Growth Forum"will conduct the Panel session on the theme "Mechanisms for financing of alternative (geothermal) energy".
The purpose of the event is an expert discussion of state and prospects for the development of geothermal energy sources in the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of leading foreign and domestic research and expert organizations.
The moderator of the session Dr. BakhytYessekina, Member of the Green Economy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Welcome speech will give Mr. MagzumMyrzagaliyev, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mr. Philipp Martine, Ambassador of France in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Executive Director of KAZENERGY Mr. TalgatKarashev, Chief Executive Officer CEO Arctic Green Corporation ( Iсeland) Mr. SigsteinnGretarsson, Representative of USAID PowertheFutureProject Mr.OlegRiaskov, Deputy Director of Hydrospetsgeology, specialist in geothermics of Kamchatka (Russian Federation) Mr. Sergey Spector, Member of CEO Ecochoice (Portugal) Mr.RicardoNunes, Director of the Institute of Hydrogeology and Hydrophysics MID RK Mr. MalikAbsametov and others will take part as speakers.
As a result of the discussion it is planned to develop recommendations to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on conducting research in the field of geothermal energy and creation of the International Association on Geothermal Energy.
