    Information system «KEDEN»

Currently, our country is actively implementing digital technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of public services, reducing bureaucratic barriers, and creating favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.
As part of the execution of the Head of State's instructions from the Address «A Fair State. One Nation. A Prosperous Society» dated September 1, 2022, the issue of modernizing the customs information system arose to optimize customs procedures using the latest technologies.
In this regard, work began in January 2023 on the development and modernization of the «ASTANA-1» (Keden) customs information system.
Since April 2024, the «Keden» system has implemented the capability for electronic customs declaration of express cargo by submitting Passenger Customs Declarations for express cargo and Goods Declarations for express cargo. Additionally, a module for tracking goods moved by individuals through the ICBC «Khorgos» has been launched.

In November 2024, the functionality of modules for preliminary customs operations and the functionality for submitting transit declarations were put into operation.

From February 2025 to the present, the following features have been launched: functionality for customs declarations on vehicles, the customs registry module, functionality for providing advance information, the «Authorized Electronic Operators» module, the «Intellectual Property Objects» module, the «Passenger Customs Declaration» module, and certain features of the «Permit Documents» module.
The goods declaration functionality was launched in April 2026.
In addition to the listed functions, the system has implemented integrations with third-party systems, including international ones.
