Notice on Transition to Mandatory Online Appointment System for Visa Services
Dear Visa Applicants,
In order to optimize consular services and enhance processing efficiency, starting from October 1, 2026, the Consular Section of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai will fully transition to an online appointment system for all visa applications.
Please take note of the following arrangements:
Cancellation of Walk-in Queuing (No Live Queue):
Starting from October 1, 2026, on-site walk-in applications without prior booking will no longer be accepted. All applicants must make an appointment online prior to visiting the Consulate General.

Please book your appointment via the official scheduling portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

Important Reminders:
Applicants are required to appear strictly on the confirmed appointment date and time slot, with a complete package of hard-copy application documents and valid identification.
Applications from individuals without a confirmed online appointment will not be processed.
